For the Amazon

This panel of my mural titled "We Are One" is dedicated to the Amazon rainforest, and highlights several animals that have been affected by environmental disasters like the recent forest fires, as well as the ongoing threat of deforestation. These types of threats can cause the loss of species that are vital to the balance of the ecosystem because of the destruction of their natural habitat, and consequently disruptions to the food chain. The animals featured are the three-toed sloth, the hyacinth macaw, the jaguar, the poison dart frog, and the golden lion tamarin.
